Victory is Mine!

In what will go down as my crowning achievement in life, tonight I have corrected the BBC's reporting. After sending an email to their news editor about an inaccuracy in one of their stories, I am happy to report they have since fixed the offending passage. Prior to my email, one of their articles said (incorrectly) that Howard Dean had not won a single primary or caucus in his bid for the presidency last year. Witness the corrected text:
Mr Dean, the former governor of Vermont, was ultimately unsuccessful in his bid to be the Democrats' presidential candidate in last year's election.

He won only one primary - in his home state, after he had suspended his campaign - but he galvanised Democrats early on in the contest with his attacks on President George W Bush and criticism of the war in Iraq.
It may be a hollow victory - but it is a victory for me all the same. Huzzah!
